Low Cost Pressure Transducer – AST4100
American Sensor Technologies, presents the
AST 4100 as a compact, price-competitive
stainless steel pressure sensor. Compatible with
a wide range of liquids and gases over pressure
ranges up to 10,000 PSI , the AST 4100 covers
a diversified variety of applications. AST 4100
pressure sensors are available with outputs of
10mV/V, 1-5V, 1-6V, or 4-20mA. All AST 4100
pressure sensors utilize AST ’s proprietary one piece
stainless steel sensing element with Krystal
Bond™ Technology.

Liquid Level Sensors – AST 4500/4510
The AST 4500 and AST 4510 liquid level sensors
are approved to UL/cUL913
(CS A 157) Class I Div 1, Groups C and D
for use in intrinsically safe areas with an approved
barrier. From 0-1 to 0-100 PSI pressure /level measurement, this submersible pressure
transducer is an excellent solution to level monitoring for indoor and outdoor applications.
The AST 4500 and AST 4510 liquid level sensors
are completely sealed for submersion, yet vented
through the cable to correct for barometric pressure changes. The welded housing is tested in-house via a helium leak tester to ensure proper protection.
The conductors of the cable are also isolated
from the outside environment to keep the sensor
operational for long-term use. Each submersible
sensor now features a 1/2″ conduit fitting at the electrical connection for applications requiring a rigid installation, such as a turbulent tank or on-board shipping application.
Available with voltage or 4-20mA output signals,
AST can provide a cost effective solution for level
monitoring for a variety of applications.

Non-Incendive Pressure Transmitter – AST4300
The AST 4300 is a Class I Division 2 Non-
Incendive pressure transmitter for use in
hazardous areas. In addition to its rugged
construction and industry-leading price-to performance
ratio, the AST 4300 pressure transmitter is the solution for pressure measurement for a variety of applications.
AST can package the AST 4300 pressure
transmitter for indoor or outdoor use. It utilizes
AST ’s proprietary Krystal Bond™ Technology
, a one-piece stainless steel sensing element

and repeatable results. This MEMSM icro
Electro-Mechanical System technology
completely isolates the media to all 316L
stainless steel or all Inconel718, depending
on the application. A variety of pressure port
threads are available including ¼” NPT and
1/2″ NPT. Output signals are available for
long transmissions (4-20mA) or low power
(voltage) applications.
